new news!
interesting title eh? well i thought of it all by myself.
anyways, i thought i shld really tell you about the full story of my job story, cuz it’s really interesting.
the day before, 2 of my friends recieved offers for their jobs, while me and my friend were still hunting for a co-op job. but it seemed everyone was better off than i was.
because both my friends that got jobs, went into amazing placements like RIM and Quest, while my other friend, unemployed, had many interviews qeued up. so i was the only one in the group without any sort of interview / job oppurtunities..
i was feeling rather down, and well next day i get up and check for more interviews, but i got none… so i decide to just forget about it and try agian next time. and at this point i’ve applied to about 100 jobs. by some weird co-incidence (or not
u kno what i mean val) i decided to bring my laptop to class. in the middle of class, i get a weird feeling i should check my email. and low and behold, i have been asked to fill in a interview position as an alternate since someone had to drop, for whatever reasons.
i checked my email at 3:15pm… the interview was at 4pm. I didn’t know what i was doing. i had no idea what kind of job i was getting and have done zero prep work. i had to go home in the middle of class to take a shower, get ready…
but somehow, my interview went well, i got a good break and ended up getting an offer by the interviewer for the job. i waited till this afternoon at 12pm to finally confirm it. but more importantly, i continued getting job offers which really made me feel that co-op job search really isn’t hopeless.
i got another offer from Hong Kong University to work for them, however their offer came late and i got matched with a job, so i can’t change my mind. and my apple job interview, i was their top pick for a 4month co-op student, but sadly they were looking for 8 months. so yah.. what a great story! lol
on another note
we talked about the validity of the bible, and there were three methods that were approached.
archiological findings
scipture / history (i 4get what it’s called.. will update again later)
prophetic completion
so on my next post. i will have details on these! and i will add urls and show u some interesting stuff!!
