thankful
happy chinese new years!
i’m so blessed to be with family here
i spent my first chinese new year in Hong Kong
and what makes it such a special event
is the fact that your able to gather together as a family
and enjoy each other’s warm smiles
laugh and joke about things
eat wonderful home cooked meals
bask in the love of each household
i’m glad i’m able to talk to my aunt and uncles
play with my cousins
eat with relatives
i’m thankful that God has protected each and every one of us
and that he’s blessed me with so much
more than i asked for
family creates such an awesome bond
even though i havn’t seen some of them for 10 years
they welcome me all the same
to my family in Canada
i miss you
and wish that you stay warm and cozy during the cold weather
