life is like…
Life is like a wikipedia page, sprinkled with blue links that lead from one thing to another.
Maybe it’s cause I’m goal oriented. I tend to focus on things that are in front of me. Usually one thing leads to another and before I realize it – I’ve spent four months absorbed in my own little world. Just like how hours are lost surfing wikipedia following the torrid blue links of death.
It takes a lot of effort for me to phone home. In fact, it’s pretty hard for me to keep in touch with friends and family. I’ve got the most mundane cell phone, and on the most rediculous plan. I pay-as-you-go for under 100bucks a year, and I have left over on it too! I can probably give up msn, and facebook without even thinking twice about it. The only reason why I’m on msn, is cause it automatically starts up with my computer.
So if you feel like I’ve been far off in the distance, please understand that it’s just something that I do without realizing it. So give me a msg or a phone call and I’d love to detour from that wikipedia lifestyle I lead.

Bern told me about your parents. I assume this is where this post kind of spawned. If I’ve learned anything from this year, it’s that community of believers is all about the individual nurturing, personal relationships. Regardless of who it’s with, parents, family, friends, brothers/sisters (by blood or other), we as Christians are called to be in loving relationships that are modeled like the Father and the Son. It’s hard but it’s necessary.
