unfortunate, but true
In the course of western thoughts, James Sire touches upon worldviews
Many people today would rather stick with their naturalism, (ie. evolution) for it still seems to be a decided improvement on the fabulous religion (Christianity) it rejected. Moreover, modern Christendom, with its hypocritical churches and its lack of compassion, is a poor testimony to the viability of theism. No, it is thought, that way will not do.
It’s sad, cause it’s true.
