prayer is like a sail
I met up with Alex Lam and he told me something really cool that deserves to be shared,
Prayer is like a sail.
The more you pray the bigger it gets!
Of course, you won’t move very fast with a small sail
for it only catches a little bit of wind,
But logic denotes that with a bigger sail,
you will catch more wind and move faster.
And God is like that wind that we’re trying to catch.
His wind is always there, always constant
Invisible, but flowing in our lives
But it’s up to us to pray and catch his wind in our sails.
Praying requires faith. And faith pleases God. And when we have faith in Him, God will invade our lives like a rushing wind.
Having a healthy prayer life makes all the difference in the world. I think I’ve posted like a million things about prayer over the last few months. Really when you find the time to pray and chat with our maker in Heaven, you’ll learn so much more.
So pray, pray and pray!
