never ready
Over the years, I’ve come to realize that it’s better that we feel unready to serve, rather than fully equipped. Infact, I’d rather feel nervous and under-qualified when serving God, than fully equiped – because I know that through my inadequacy God will give me all that I need to serve.
Throughout the Bible, God never called anyone that truly felt ready to serve, He always called those who were un-equipped and then later equips them with His might hand.
When you feel equiped to serve, you’ll probably start serving with pride, and out of character and away from God. I’d rather be Godfearing and serving in a way that is always in-line with God.
I wish I had more time to articulate my blog posts, but I guess half-thought out blurbs will have to suffice for now.
peace.

last week this guy gave this sermon on ‘weakness’
and he said something like ‘one of the greatest challenges of us is not that we don’t have weaknesses, but that we learn to ACCEPT weaknesses. Weakness’ is not a sign of failure, it is an opportunity for God to work’
thanks for the reminder mikee =)
